Palms are architectural, exotic, classy and surprisingly well able to cope with our climate. Some of these aren't strictly palms but they give the palm effect and are good choices in areas where exposure is a real problem.

Transplanting of even the largest specimens is easy and the survival rate is very high, so you can plant with confidence.
